7th Ghana Hang Gliding & Paragliding Festival

Hi Walter,
Once more I begin by saying congratulations to you, Sabrina, the assisting pilots and everyone who contributed into making the 5th Easter Paragliding Festival a success. Though it wasn’t an easy event to organize, it certainly was one worth it.

Thanks to your ingenuity and dedication, I will not be surprise if in the next year, two or three to come, the tourism sector with respect to paragliding in the Kwahu Ridge and hopefully other regions in Ghana, hosts an array of local and multinational pilots (solo and tandem) participating in the Easter Paragliding Festival as a recreational event or stunt competition.

This will immensely contribute to the booming of the tourism sector in Ghana, involving both the young and old in a profitable area as well as creating a form of employment for the jobless in the long and short term.

Little by little, Ghana and Africa as a whole will be pacing up with other developed countries concerning growth in the aviation field.

I envision these prospects and do believe if the government and stakeholders contribute immensely, it will be of much benefit to all thanks to you, Sabrina and your dedicated team of trainers (pilots).

I am a living testimony to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous quote:
“Why Fly? For once when you have tasted flight, you’ll forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you’ll always long to return”.
